THE PROJECT
On the occasion of its 80th anniversary, the Association turned to Nebbia to develop the creative concept and design the exhibition for a celebratory photography show.
Nebbia’s creative team chose to go beyond a traditional approach, completely rethinking the exhibition: not just a collection of images, but a true museum-like and experiential journey.
The exhibition was therefore conceived as a journey through the main industrial sectors of the territory, where photography, installations, and interactive content come together to tell not only the story of the companies, but also the values, transformations, and identity of an entire production system.
INSTALLATIONS
From the very entrance, visitors are welcomed by an immersive video that introduces the narrative and sets the tone of the experience.
At the center of the first room, a steel coil becomes a living surface on which words and concepts related to industry flow, interacting with a LED floor that enhances its visual impact.
A series of thematic corners invites visitors to engage directly with the content: from the space dedicated to cosmetics, where the audience is involved in a personal and collective gesture in front of a mirror, to a vintage corner featuring iconic commercials and advertising posters from the 1950s and 1960s, reflecting the imagery and evolution of industrial communication.
The journey is completed by more material and narrative installations, such as the terrarium dedicated to red clay – a symbol of circular economy – a corner inspired by plastic transformation, historical photographs, and a room dedicated to the screening of video content produced by the Association over recent years.
A combination of elements designed to alternate storytelling, interaction, and emotion, making the visit engaging and memorable.
HISTORY
The final part of the journey is dedicated to the stories of the people who, through their leadership as presidents, have played a key role in the growth and development of the Association and the local territory.
Through a selection of archival materials, portraits, and institutional content, this section highlights the value of those who have guided the Association over the years, offering a more human and historical perspective on the local industrial system.
To support this narrative, custom exhibition panels were designed to create a clear and coherent path, guiding visitors through a structured yet engaging storytelling experience.
COORDINATION
The project was developed through continuous coordination across creativity, production, and content. Nebbia supported the client in collecting materials from the companies, defining the exhibition journey, and implementing the installations, while simultaneously coordinating the various stakeholders involved in the realization of the exhibition.
A complex process that required managing multiple interlocutors—from companies to technical suppliers—transforming a heterogeneous set of images, contributions, and expertise into a coherent and structured narrative.
